Video: Edmund Morris Talks the Final Years of TR

Pulitzer Prize winning author Edmund Morris was at the Nixon Library on Wednesday to discuss “Colonel Roosevelt,” his final masterpiece in his trilogy about America’s 26th President.
The capstone is 30 years in the making following bestsellers “The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt” and “Theodore Rex,”  detailing the final 10 years of the ebullient statesman, his triumphs as well as his tragedies.

Highlights of Colonel Roosevelt include his voyages to Africa, South America, and Europe, his ill-fated return to Presidential politics, his survival from a would be assassin’s bullet, and his quixotic attempt at becoming a commanding general in World War I.
